EQAO & OSSLT Preparation

At iGuide Academy, our EQAO preparation classes focus on helping students do well in the EQAO English and Math exams. Our personalized program follows the Ontario curriculum, making sure students understand the exam material and the subject deeply. We’re dedicated to helping every student succeed academically and feel more confident.

The EQAO is the Ontario’s Education Equality and Accountability Office. The independent government body oversees reading, writing, and mathematics assessments for Ontario students in grades 3, 6, 9, and 10.

The assessments provide information to parents, teachers, administrators, and school boards on how well students have learned the province’s reading, writing, and math standards.

English and Math Preparation

We provide a strong foundation in English and Math in our Grade 3 EQAO preparation classes. With our comprehensive approach, we delve into essential areas such as reading comprehension, writing proficiency, vocabulary expansion, problem-solving, numerical operations and mathematical reasoning. What sets us apart is our team of dedicated teachers who utilize a diverse range of interactive teaching strategies, making learning not only effective but also enjoyable.  This helps students feel ready and do well in the EQAO exams, setting them up for success in school.

English and Math Preparation

In our Grade 6 EQAO math and English preparation lessons, we tackle common student challenges. We place great emphasis on the critical thinking and problem-solving skills through our individualized practice sessions. Along with math-focused sessions, we provide a variety of reading materials and writing assignments to help students boost their literacy skills. Our goal is to build confidence and proficiency required for students to approach complex math problems accurately. This targeted practice helps students to perform to their full ability during exams

Math Preparation

We assist students in Grade 9 with their EQAO math exam preparation. We offer the training and practice that students require to fully comprehend the mathematical ideas covered at each school level. Through a combination of comprehensive lessons, practice tests, and personalized support, we ensure that students master key mathematical skills and strategies for problem-solving. We aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills crucial to excel in the Grade 9 EQAO math test.

Literacy Test

We help kids get ready for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, which is necessary for everyone pursuing a high school diploma. During practice sessions, exams, and a mock exam, students will receive feedback as well as test-taking tips, reading and writing approaches, and test-taking strategies.
