iGuide is a client-focused and result driven tutoring and learning center that provides individualized learning opportunities from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our dedicated tutors in North York, Thornhill, Markham and beyond provide customized lessons based on student’s learning needs and goals.

Our Methodology

Goal Oriented

We first assess our student’s strengths and learning needs. Then we create SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) goals and create custom lesson plans.

Customized Learning Programs

Our programs give priority to student’s learning style and fits to Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic learners. We help students with learning disabilities and IEP support. We also provide enrichment programs for gifted students.

Qualified Tutors

Our tutors in North York and beyond are Ontario Certified teachers or teacher candidates. We hire tutors from top colleges and universities. We provide our tutors with in-house professional development with focus on most up-to-date learning resources.

Assessments

We track student’s progress on regular basis and provide weekly progress report to parents. Each class starts with a quiz from the previous lesson and then we teach the new concept.

We know that supporting your child’s learning can be overwhelming. Between busy schedules and complex schoolwork, homework and test prep can be stressful for both students and families. Many parents of elementary students aren’t always sure what their child is learning or how to help at home—you’re not alone.

At iGuide Academy, our tutors do more than teach. They take the time to understand each child’s needs, explain concepts clearly, and help students gain confidence in their abilities. From math tutoring for kids to support in English, French, Science, or IEP guidance, we focus on helping children truly understand their learning and feel proud of their progress.

We recently switched to this tutoring center after hearing such great things, and it has truly lived up to the praise. Ms. Hina has been incredible; so attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in my son’s progress. She explains everything clearly and has really helped build his confidence. She gives homework to test his knowledge, and does it in a fun, encouraging way that keeps him engaged rather than overwhelmed.

The facility is also fantastic; clean, organized, and very welcoming, which creates the perfect environment for learning and focus.

iGuide Academy offers one-on-one online sessions, which is fantastic because it ensures each child receives personalized attention and the convenience of learning from home. Hina is very flexible and accommodating, always making sure to schedule makeup classes so kids don’t miss out. Plus, she provides extra practice materials that are especially helpful during school tests.

The lessons are clear and easy to understand, and my child’s reading, writing, and vocabulary have improved a lot. We were very happy with the math tutoring service from iGuide Academy. The tutor was very knowledgeable and accommodating; when we needed additional sessions for my son to prepare for his tests or exams, the Academy was able to accommodate us. My son improved his grades a lot since he started getting the tutoring sessions; he got more confident and he learned ways of learning and retaining knowledge as the tutor shared tips on how to remember some rules for Math. Owner is professional, patient and caring. She is highly knowledgeable of different teaching techniques.
